Large product range of dry Tokaj wine
At Tokaji, the wine lover often thinks of the Tokaji Aszu, the world-famous dessert wine from Hungary. The dry Tokaji has been on the rise in recent years. These dry Tokaji win prizes at international wine competitions. Known wineries from Tokaj, which make excellent dry white wines, include Béres, Chateau Dereszla, Grof Degenfeld, Patricius and Szent Tamas. Most dry white wines from Tokaj are made from the Furmint grape. This dry Furmint gives mineral wines that can be both fresh and complex. Because of the vulk supply, these wines get their own taste. Apart from the Furmint, the Hárslevelu grape is also used for dry white wines. Well-known examples are the Béres Diókút Hárslevelü and the Terézia van Grof Degenfeld.
