White wine from Hungary
Hungary is a white wine country. Approximately 70% of the production is white. And although almost everyone thinks about the sweet Tokaji Aszu with Hungarian wine, Hungary also makes a lot of dry white wines of high quality. One of the characteristics of Hungarian wines is that most are relatively full-bodied wines, solid wine with character. The Hungarians themselves drink 30 – 32 liters of wine per capita, 48% is white wine.
