Hárslevelű (Linden Leaf) is one of the three main varietals of the Tokaj region. With large loose bunches and thick skin this is much less susceptible to botrytis than Furmint. However it is excellent for dry and late harvest wines.
This wine has nice florally smell with linden blossom character and a tiny touch of honey-suckle. It is lovely fresh fruity on palate completed by the shade of oak ageing. The aftertaste is long lasting creamy fully ripe peach.
This wine can provide perfect match to roasted poultry and pork dishes. Best to drink at 12-14 °C.
